Burberry Lip Velvet | Long Wear Lipstick | Colour Swatches

I adore everything about the lip velvet range of lipsticks, right down to the packaging. As you open up the cardboard boxes covering the lipstick you reveal the elegant Burberry lipstick holder, understated but extremely luxe. The mechanism itself to securely close the lipstick is a strong magnet, which when you have a few of your lipsticks next to each other they all line up in a pretty pattern (see images).

Of course it is what’s on the inside that counts, this matte texture is far less harsh than other lipsticks I’ve tried that promise the same thing but don’t deliver. I was given the velvety matte finish, without the dry lips! With just one quick sweep of lipstick across my lips I had full coverage, the pigment is really strong and durable (I had my lipstick on for 6 hours and it was still there when I went to wash my make-up off).

I'd rate lip velvet 10/10, a product I love as it has made an unobtainable trend (matte lips) accessible to people like me who suffer with dry lips!

  7. I just love the Burberry pattern on lipstick itself. Looks so much more luxe than most other lipsticks on the market. :) Nice post.
