Andersen Boutique Hotel Copenhagen Review

Andersen Boutique Hotel, Copenhagen is located on Vesterbro in the heart of Copenhagen, a short walk from the central station, close to the city centre, metro, parks, shopping and a vast array of restaurants.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted with the offer of a glass of wine as I checked-in. It turns out that this hotel runs 'Wine Hour' - free wine for guests between the hours of 5 and 6 every evening.

The Room:
I stayed in a beautiful suite, complete with sofa, dressing table, luggage rack, many chairs and 2 very comfy single beds with luxurious bedding. The room was large,  bright, and very practical. I loved the lighting in the room, lots of cool free hanging lamps.

The bathroom was huge, and the shower was powerful and always hot. It's the little things that make a hotel stay that much better, and this hotel really went the extra mile - with Molton Brown products in the bathroom, slippers, dressing gowns and super soft towels.

The Breakfast:
Delicious - everything you'd expect of a nice hotel, cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts, tea, coffee, pastries and a mix of hot foods (sausages, eggs and pancakes).

won't share a photo of my breakfast, as I tend to have very bizarre combinations. For example: coco pops with dried bananas and chai seeds, which really was delicious - but I don't think it would do the hotel's breakfast buffet any justice.

Hotel Facilities:
Check-in is after 2pm and check-out before noon, unless you've booked under Concept 24 (which is an amazing idea and all hotels should offer this!) What does Concept 24 mean? Well, if you arrive at 4pm then the room is yours for 24 hours - which means checkout isn't until 4pm the next day
Wash and dry cleaning service on the same day
Wake-up calls
Free newspapers and magazines in the lounge area
Iron and ironing board available
Free Wifi
Safety Deposit Box in room
(Super tasty) Breakfast Buffet
Fridge in room
Bike Hire

Wine Hour (other hotels take note)

Would I visit Copenhagen again? Just take a look at this...
