MOVIE NIGHT IN WITH PLUSNET AND BFI

PlusNet and the BFI have teamed up to to promote their blockbuster 'Love’ season, which sees the BFI showing classic love films across the country.

I was sent all the essentials for a move night in including facemasks and popcorn, as well as an account for the BFI player, everything required to watch a classic love film!

Popcorn popped, faux fur throw on, facemask applied and coconut oil in hair… time to choose a movie to watch. I decided to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's, as despite having studied film at University - and having reached the grand old age of 26 - I've somehow missed watching this cult classic.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is directed by Blake Edwards, and stars the beautiful Audrey Hepburn. The movie tells the story of a young woman in New York who loves the party lifestyle (Holly, played by Hepburn) meeting a young man when he moves into her apartment building. He is with an older woman who is very wealthy, but he wants to be a writer. She is working as an expensive escort and searching for a rich, older man to marry. [Source Wiki: I wanted to make sure I didn't give any more of the plot away than you'd get if you just Google'd the movie... for all of the 3 people left in the World that haven't seen this film!]

(Had I of thought this through, I'd have used a peel off mask so that I didn't need to pause the movie 20mins in to wash it off)

You can get a 30 day free trial on the BFI player right now - I’ve pretty much exhausted all of Netflix, so it’s great to see some classic and art house films on here that I’ve not watched before.

What's your favourite love film of all time?
